Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By using the services of Aevi Ticino ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of the service

Aevi offers commemorative plaques with a QR code and a digital platform for creating and managing online memorials. The service includes:

  • Sale of commemorative plaques with a QR code
  • Hosting of digital memorials
  • Tools for managing memorial content
  • Digital guest book

3. Registration and account

To use the Service you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for the security of your account and for all activity carried out with your credentials.

4. User content

You are solely responsible for the content you upload to the memorial (text, photos, videos). You warrant that you hold the rights necessary to publish such content and that it does not infringe the rights of third parties.

We reserve the right to remove content that breaches these terms, the laws in force, or that is deemed inappropriate.

5. Prohibited content

You may not upload content that:

  • Infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights
  • Is defamatory, offensive or unlawful
  • Contains pornographic or violent material
  • Promotes unlawful activity
  • Contains viruses or malicious code

6. Prices and payments

Product prices are shown in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include VAT. Memorial hosting is included for the first year from purchase. After that, an annual fee applies.

7. Shipping and delivery

Shipments within Switzerland are made within 3 to 5 working days. We are not responsible for delays caused by the courier or by events beyond our control.

8. Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the product. The product must be returned intact and in its original packaging. The cost of return shipping is at your own expense.

9. Warranty

Our products are guaranteed for 2 years against manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents or normal wear and tear.

10. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, error-free or secure. We are not liable for indirect damages, loss of data or loss of profit.

11. Intellectual property

The Aevi brand, the site design and the original content are our property. You may not copy, modify or distribute such content without authorisation.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account in the event of a breach of these terms. In the event of termination, the memorial data will be kept for 30 days before being permanently deleted.

13. Changes to the terms

We reserve the right to amend these terms. Changes will be communicated by email or through the site. Continued use of the Service after the changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Lugano, Switzerland.
